At Moreau Paris, the celebration of French History shines brightly with one of its most iconic figures, King Louis XIV of France. Known as "The Sun King," he adopted the Sun emblem as a powerful symbol of his absolute authority and dominion. Inspired by the concept of the Sun as the center of the universe, illuminating all its subjects with its radiant light, King Louis XIV left an indelible mark on history.

The emblem became synonymous with his reign, representing the grandeur and splendor of the French monarchy during the 17th century.

The Brégançon pays tribute to one of Moreau’s most prestigious historical clients, Robert Bellanger, the last tenant of Fort Brégançon. A true blend of tradition, craftsmanship and modern style, the Brégançon PM is handstitched by our craftsman using the finest leathers. Moreau Paris uses only the finest materials, selected for their exceptional quality and timeless appeal. Each leather undergoes a rigorous selection process and is chosen for its refinement, suppleness, and soft touch. Natural characteristics such as subtle colour undertones and visible veins are inherent to the material and contribute to its uniqueness. Through artisanal processing and dyeing techniques, the natural grain of the leather is enhanced, combining elegance with durability and functionality.

The Moreaunette and Bionette canvases are crafted from natural fibres and coated with a natural resin, providing water resistance and long-lasting performance across all canvas products. The printing process involves applying thin layers of ink to the surface of the canvas. While this technique allows for intricate designs and rich colours, it may be sensitive to abrasion and fading over time. To preserve the appearance and quality of the canvas, it is recommended to limit contact with hard or rough surfaces and to rotate the use of your product to ensure even wear and extended longevity.

To best preserve your Moreau Paris item, we recommend keeping it away from humidity, rain, prolonged exposure to direct light, and sources of heat. Avoid contact with alcohol, perfumes, oils, cosmetics, or waterproofing products. In the event of contact with water, or when cleaning leather or metal hardware, gently wipe the surface with a clean, dry, soft, non-coloured cloth. When not in use, always store your product in its dust bag, and for soft bags, stuff the interior with silk paper to help maintain their shape.
