Moreau Paris brings its timeless elegance to the Pearl of the Orient Seas with the opening of its latest boutique in Manila, the dynamic capital of the Philippines.

Why Manila?

The expansion to Manila was a natural progression for Moreau Paris, as the brand continues to thrive in Asia, a region where its presence is strong and celebrated. The sophisticated taste of Moreau’s Japanese clientele is a testament to its success in the continent, with the brand prominently featured in renowned department stores such as Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Mitsukoshi Ginza, Matsuzakaya Nagoya, Barneys New York, and Bols.

In the Philippines, Moreau Paris initially made its mark through the “Univers Homme & Femme” multi-brand stores in Makati Mall. The overwhelming success and admiration from local customers made the decision to open a dedicated mono-brand boutique a natural step forward.

The new boutique in Manila showcases Moreau’s rich heritage and signature Parisian elegance, blended with a modern perspective.

  • Interior Design: The space features molded panels, stone shelves, and bespoke furniture inspired by Moreau’s historical trunks. A wooden floor adorned with Moreau’s iconic pattern, enhanced with champagne anodized aluminum accents, adds a touch of refined brilliance.
  • Signature Elements: The store highlights the brand’s iconic corporate color, “Moreau Bleu Azur,” with a luxurious carpet. The entrance is adorned with the famous “Ex Libris” spider logo, ensuring a welcoming and distinctive presence.
  • Branding Excellence: The boutique incorporates Moreau’s “letter logo” on columns and suspended signage, creating a sophisticated ambiance.

As a tribute to local culture, the store’s window design celebrates the Jeepney, the Philippines’ iconic “king of the road.” This nod to Filipino heritage is further enhanced with Manila-exclusive personalization services, making the boutique a unique destination.

The Grand Opening

The store officially opened on July 11th, marked by a grand celebration attended by prominent local officials, celebrities, and influencers. The event was graced by Moreau Paris’ Maison Peintre à Main artist, Monsieur Enzo Bisserier, who mesmerized guests with his hand-painting artistry. Visitors had the opportunity to customize their Moreau accessories, witnessing firsthand the brand’s MasterCraft tradition that has been central to its legacy.

A Growing Global Presence

The Manila boutique is the latest addition to Moreau’s prestigious flagship locations, including the iconic Paris store at 49, rue de Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where the brand’s journey began in 1882, and the Houston flagship, which solidified Moreau’s presence in the United States.
